Who is GotchaEducation?

GotchaEducation is the education software brand of Talhah Patelia Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd, a South African company. We build simple apps for schools, madrasahs, tutors and exam bodies. GotchaExam, our first product, won R100 000 at the 2024 Jamboree.

How much does it cost?

The Hifz App is priced per learner per year: R120, R150 or R250 depending on the plan. Hifz classes that genuinely can’t afford the fee can ask for verified free access. For GotchaExam, the Community Service App and custom projects, request a demo and we’ll give you a quote.

Do your apps work without internet?

GotchaExam is built to keep exams running offline. The Hifz App needs a connection to save records today. When a custom project needs to work offline, we design for that from the start.

What devices do we need?

Teachers use their own iPhone or Android phone for the Hifz App. GotchaExam runs on desktop, web and mobile. We’ll confirm the setup for your school in the demo.

How is learner information handled?
